The knapsack sprayer is a spray device consisting of a knapsack tank, a pressurized device, a pipeline and a sprayer nozzle. It dispenses liquid through a hand-held nozzle attached to a pressurized reservoir on the operator's back and is
primarily used for firefighting and spraying fungicides or insecticides, suitable for on-site treatment areas.
The most commonly used knapsack sprayer is the "lever-operated knapsack sprayer". If you are using a knapsack sprayer, follow these steps:
1. Read manufacturer's instructions carefully before using sprayer.
2. Before using the herbicide, test it with water to make sure the knapsack sprayer is working properly and there are no leaks.
3. Select the correct nozzle. The nozzle is the part that dispenses the liquid. These nozzles come in different sizes, which determine the spray volume.
4. Regularly calibrate the sprayer with clean water and a bucket, especially when it is about to be used.
When spraying herbicides, insecticides and insecticides, only one row is sprayed in the same pass. Spraying the rows left and right slows the process down. Always wear gloves when adding herbicides.
